    I am actively developing the iOS app now and hope to have a beta out this summer. I will post back here when I will be looking for beta testers. Please vote for this idea if you’d like to receive an invite to beta test.

  3. Add a map so we can find places nearby easier.

    Just a map, kind of like the Dark Sky Finder map, but with the option to input a date and time, a little like how on Google Earth you can adjust the time in ground view to see what the sky is supposed to look like. It'd be a huge help in finding a good place nearby rather than figuring out the zip code for random places!

    Interesting idea. Is the goal with this to compare different places to see where you have the best bet? Or is the goal to simply quickly find a forecast for wherever you are right now? Or am I completely misunderstanding (if so, please forgive me).

  7. Incorporate severe weather with an alert system

    Severe weather in itself provides for fantastic photo ops. Even post severe weather is great.

    This, in general, is planned in that I plan to providing forecasting for severe weather. That being said, you mentioned dust storms specifically … I am unsure how to forecast dust over a wind storm, so I am not sure I’ll be able to pull that on off.

    All this being said, for now, I could build simple forecasts (need a forecast to get an alert on it) that are just for high wind and (separately) thunderstorms. These but not be much more than just weather forecasts for now. Would you find that helpful?

  12. Problem: Can't select area for watch

    I know you said this has been fixed in some browsers, but my version of Google Chrome still has this annoying problem. Version. 67.0.3396.99. Is there a fix for this problem on my version of Chrome?

    Can you be more specific about what is happening for you? Are you trying to select a location? Are you clicking the existing location name, or trying to select one of your saved locations from the menu? Or something else? (I am running the same version of Chrome currently)

    I’d love to expand beyond the United States, but getting detailed weather data is expensive (I have zero revenue coming from this). Are you aware of any free sources of weather data for the UK?

  14. Great if you live in Richmond, VA, anywhere else seems to be useless.

    Can't create new locations, your gps can't find any city in Illinois.

    Apologies about this … I have a ton of locations, but it certainly is not every location. Generally it only has the larger locations in an area. Nonetheless, if you are willing to share the location you are interested in, I’d be happy to add it.

    I entered a City (Sausalito, CA 94965) and somehow it is saved as Richmond VA when I go to my saved Sausalito and I can't get rid of Richmond VA - what do i do?

    Good afternoon,

    I assume you are referring to where you are searching by the name of a state, like say, “Vermont” and only getting results for cities outside of the state of Vermont (that have it in the name of the city). If so, this is now fixed, it now will include those cities with Vermont in the name AND all of the cities in Vermont:

    Hopefully, this is what you are referring to? If not, could you send me a search that you are trying and not getting the expected results? Thanks so much!
