GetOutCast is a very young project and we are trying to gauge public interest. If we see enough interest in the service, we absolutely wish to expand the forecasts internationally. 

We chose to start with just the United States for a few reasons, primarily being a selfish reason, we live there and can take advantage of the forecasts.  This also allows us to easily tweak the algorithms behind the forecast because we can see how well they work each day.  We also chose the United States because gaining access to weather prediction data is affordable and detailed enough to make predictions with.  Most of the services out there that provide global weather data either have insufficient data to forecast with any accuracy or are extremely expensive.
